For day 8 of our #ActiveLivingProject we have something that we believe is the perfect way to nurture yourself and enjoy some much needed relaxtion! A Do-It-Yourself Yogurt, Oatmeal and Honey Face Mask: Honey contains antioxidants, absorbs impurities from the pores, and is a wonderful moisturizer. Oatmeal aids in relieving dryness, helps to maintain moisture balance, and is a gentle skin exfoliator. Yogurt, with its beneficial enzymes and lactic acid, helps to hydrate, smooth, and sooth the skin.
Ingredients:
1 cup of plain yogurt
½ cup of uncooked oatmeal
1 teaspoon of honey
1) Cleanse your face and neck
2) Add the yogurt and oatmeal into a bowl and mix together
3) Add a teaspoon of honey into the mixture and stir
4) Apply the mask to your face with clean hands or a clean foundation brush
5) Leave on for 10-20 minutes and wash off with warm water
6) Apply your usual moisturiser
You can vary the amount of ingredients to your preference
