Super Easy Trail Mix Energy Bites...Just in Time For Mother's Day!

Trail Mix RecipeThis is seriously the easiest recipe you will ever encounter! Only a few simple steps and you have a healthy and yummy snack! These little guys also make the perfect pre or post-workout snack, dessert or gift(MOTHER'S DAY!)

What you will need: 1/4 cup of your favorite trail mix/ fruit and nut combo, 4tsp of organic dark chocolate chips

First, in a microwave safe bowl heat the chocolate chips until melted.

Once you have the chips melted, on a piece of wax paper spoon quarter-sized chocolate circles onto a sheet of wax paper(should make about 10 circles). Then lightly press trail mix onto the circles.

Once this step is completed, let the bites dry for about 40-60 minutes. 

For faster results, place them in the refrigerator and enjoy!!
