Feeling off balance when you lift weights? Check your shoes!

If you're having a hard time keeping your balance while you lift, you have to get rid of the squishy running shoes!

Our Wine Down Wednesday instructor for April has some tips for you to stabilize your lift in enhance your gains!

    • Ditch the squishy running shoes! They are meant to fit loose, and you need a tighter shoe to reduce wiggling and increase stabilization of your feet while you lift. 
    • Ensure your shoes have a flat bottom.  This increases stability so we can have balance when we move around with such heavy weights.
    • Good traction from a flat heel means our feet won't slip around or lose grip when we need it most during our lift.
