Lisa has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She became an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor in 1991 and then began teaching in L.A. After moving back to Texas, she taught at the World Renowned Cooper Fitness Center and received her certification as a personal trainer. Lisa continues to teach group fitness and personal train, working with clients of various fitness levels from college athletes to those with MS and arthritis. She has been a runner for 30 years, participating in everything from 5Ks to marathons.She is certified through American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She also holds certifications and licenses in TRX, Schwinn Indoor Cycling, Resist-A Ball, Pilates Matwork and Small Apparatus, Yoga Fundamentals, Gliding Fitness, Bootcamp and kid's fitness. Lisa has volunteered at Crisis Pregnancy Centers and has been on the board of The Wishing Well for the North Texas area. She is happily married with 3 (almost grown) kids and 2 dogs! With so many years of experience and involvement in the fitness industry, Lisa has seen a lot of people with imbalances, therefore she strives to encourage people(and works hard herself) to be fit physically, emotionally and spiritually. She loves to laugh and tries to makes sure there is lots of laughter in her classes!
We are so excited to be welcoming Lisa into our Wine Down Wednesday family and hope that you come and join us for her free Tabata instruction on April, 23rd along with a thirty minute nutrition education titled Metabolism Makeover. It is part of our Fitness n' Fuel by Nutriformance Month of instruction that involves a half an hour of physical instruction and nutrition themed education talks followed, of course, by free wine to our of age attendees.
