We will kick off this event Wednesday August 6th at 6:00 pm with Justin, a Lagniappe Fitness partner who works with clients interested in ultramarathons and training, as well as trail specific running. Justin will teach us about basics about trail vs road running and he will also talk to us about awesome places to run around STL!
Week two, will take place Wednesday, August 13, at 6:00 pm, it will be all about specific training plans and how to get started! Kourtney will introduce the basics of training plans and what to include each week as we start to train for fall races.
On Wednesday August 20 at 6:00 pm we will learn all about strength training plans and injury prevention for runners. Kourtney will teach us how to make sure we are taking care of our bodies while running. Then we will head outside for a short workout!
Our final week on Wednesday August 27th at 6:00 pm we will get race day ready with a checklist and a Q&A session. Kourtney will provide all answers to any lingering question! So if you are looking for a fun and informational workout join us every Wednesday in the month of August at 6!
