Announcing...
Moira Killoran for
July #WDW!
Moira's Story:
Moira believes connection with others is the greatest gift we can experience. Whether it was through studying other cultures as an Anthropology major at Wash U, delivering meals to seniors in need in our community as the coordinator of Campus Kitchens at Saint Louis University, or teaching yoga to inmates, connection with people has always been the driving force in Moira's life. She believes we all have something to learn from one another. In her yoga classes, she strives to cultivate this connection with each other and within ourselves. While at Wash U, Moira pole vaulted on the varsity track team. She took her first yoga class as a way to supplement her track training, but ending up finding much much more. It wasn't long after that Moira ended up at the front of the classroom. Yoga taught Moira how to exhale the unnecessary stress in her life to allow more space for joy and, again, connection. Moira brings her athletic background to her vinyasa and power yoga classes by offering up challenging sequences and dynamic flows that give the student an opportunity to find their inner strength. By cultivating the tools to stay calm and present while balancing on one leg, you develop the ability to tap into this strength off of the mat, too. Moira looks forward to getting to know your story while supporting you on the next step in your journey.
